Every corner of the house has its own story: the stone manor house, the lounges with fireplaces, the library where breakfast is served, and a garden of magnolias, cypress trees and oaks overlooking the valley. Come in and make yourself at home.

A historic house, lovingly restored for you to stay
We are a family in love with Cantabria, its landscapes, culture and gastronomy. Casa Luca de Tena was born from a clear idea: to bring a late 17th-century manor house back to life without altering the surrounding environment.
The restoration, carried out by Hermanos Vega and designed by Luis Alberto Alonso, preserved the character of the original house. We opened up windows overlooking the garden to make the most of the views, moved the stone staircase to the centre of the house and preserved every tree on the estate.
Today, it is a personal project that we are closely involved in, offering a warm welcome and sending our guests home as friends.

In the heart of the Saja Nature Reserve, the restoration of the house incorporated solar panels, aerothermal heating and thermal insulation. At the table, we always champion locally sourced products.
